கோவையில் 2 வயது பெண் குழந்தைக்கு எச்.ஐ.வி. ரத்தம் ஏற்றியதாக அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரி மீது குற்றம் சாட்டி பெற்றோர் பரபரப்பு புகார் தெரிவித்தனர். 

கோவை அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் எச்.ஐ.வி பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இரத்தம் இரண்டு வயது பெண் குழந்தைக்கு செலுத்தப்பட்டதாக புகார் வந்த நிலையில், பாதிக்கப்பட்ட குழந்தைக்கு அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் உரிய சிகிச்சை அளிக்க வில்லை என குற்றம்சாட்டி பெற்றோர் கோவை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியரிடம் மனு அளித்தனர்.

ஸ்டெலைட் ஆலையை திறக்கக் கூடாது எனப் பேசுவது எப்படி குற்றமாகும் என சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்ற மதுரை கிளை நீதிபதிகள் கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளனர். மேலும் ஸ்டெலைட்க்கு ஆதரவாக காவல் துறை செயல்படுவதாக கருத்து தெரிவித்துள்ளார் 
 

The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Wednesday sought a counter from the Thoothukudi Superintendent of Police Murali Rambha after
a public interest litigation petition alleged police clampdown against anti-Sterlite protesters.

The Madurai Bench of Madras High court criticized Thoothukudi police for initiating criminal action against persons involved in anti-Strelite activities, saying that the people department is taking sides.

Henri Tiphagne, executive director of People’s Watch, has blamed the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for giving a silent burial to the
case relating to the anti-Sterlite protest in May 2018 in which 13 people were killed in police firing.

Expressing disappointment over the National Green Tribunal’s (NGT) decision in the Sterlite Copper case, in which the State’s decision to close the plant was set aside, People’s Watch, a Madurai-based Human Rights Organisation, has urged the State government to immediately take a policy decision in this regard.
